newbie: HTTP and URIs

Hi,
I'm quite new to this, so please excuse trivial questions:
- Is there any function (int the .net framework) that gives me an
enumeration of all URIs in a http stream (passed as e.g. a string)? If not,
how could I achieve such a thing?
- Really trivial, but to make sure: What does the string "/.../" in an URL
mean? I'd suspect some directory operation, but I dunno exactly...
- I'm currently using the HttpUtility.UrlDecode() function to decode some
http URIs and one thing stroke me in particular: The string
[...]"test.exe?/c+xtsr" is decoded to "test.exe?/c xtsr", missing the "+".
When I use the System.Uri class for the decoding the "+" remains...Does
anyone know why?

Not sure what you mean by this. You can find URLs in an HTML document by
using Regular Expressions. The HTML document is a string.

Is that the exact string you saw in a URL? I've never seen it before.

The "+" character is a URL-Encoding for a space (which is an illegal URL
character).

Newbies questions

Hi guys, first of all please excuse me if I post this topic in the wrong section. I have two questions. First of all I am new in web development and I really want to learn asp.net, one thing I am not sure of is that, what is the the languages that I need to learn before learning asp.net? currentlly I am all most done with HTML and CSS, is there anything I need to learn also? XML maybe?

Another thing is that, I know that I can use C sharp or VB with ASP.net. should I learn C sharp or VB before ASP.net or after?

In my opinion, both of the VB and C# are good, you can choose the one you like better. They are supported by the CTS of .NET Framework. They have the same FCL in the .NET Framework. The difference between them is just syntax. When you learn ASP.NET, you should be familiar with C# or VB. They are used to implement the business logic, and HTML and CSS are used to manipulate the presention of the page.
